Imaging limb structures may require costly infrastructure or provide information limited to one signal type. The project explores an alternative measurement direction.
Solution concept
EDD™ combines a chamber with a controlled medium, a multi-transducer arrangement, synchronised acquisition and spatial reconstruction supported by GPU computing and algorithms.
Further R&D
Required work includes propagation models, test phantoms, medium-temperature control, a bench prototype and comparison with reference methods. The project is not currently a medical device.
